I was born in the pink city of India, Jaipur. I had a happy childhood living with my grandparents, parents, and siblings. My father was a government servant and mother a housewife who helped me imbibe the core values of integrity, punctuality and being truthful. I took my elementary, secondary, and electrical engineering education from Jaipur before shifting base to the capital of India, New Delhi.

In 2005, I joined the Amity Business School, Noida to study business management which helped me to understand the nuances of business and exposed me to various elements of running an organization. I started my corporate journey in 2007 with the Hilti Group (a renowned European multi-national) as a management trainee. Fresh from the campus, I quickly realized that I need to recalibrate my knowledge and create a practical and broader view to look at various business scenarios. I worked in Hilti on various sales and BD profiles before becoming a Product Manager. Post winning several sales accolades, my first big success came in 2012 when I was instrumental in launching the first Make for India product and steered the sales strategically to the target market. After 6.5 years with the Hilti Group, I had joined Keselec Schréder (a Belgian JV company into lighting and IoT based solutions) where I had a short stint of 2.5 years managing Marketing; Product Management and Marcom. During this time, I worked very closely with the R&D and manufacturing teams to build a completely new LED lighting portfolio for which I also won the MD Award for the Best Performer in 2014. I joined Thermo Fisher Scientific (a US multi-national into scientific instrumentation) in 2016. This 7-year period of leading multiple businesses, managing high performing teams and servicing diverse customers was a great experience from which I learnt a lot about general management, finance, and supply chain management. This experience also helped me work in a matrix reporting environment and handle multiple stakeholders. I also contributed to many product localization initiatives to build local capabilities. I consider myself fortunate to have served customers in diverse industries like Oil & Gas, Power, Cement, Metal, Pharma, Construction, R&D, Nuclear and Medical.

In my current assignment with Swagelok Bangalore as Regional Director – North India, my focus is on managing the complete operations for the North India branch. I lead a team of 50 enthusiastic colleagues to help maintain company's leadership position in the industry. Swagelok’s values of Quality, Integrity, and respect for all completely resonate with me wherein we continue to drive customer focus, innovation, and continuous improvement. The working environment and culture foster me to utilize my experience gained over many years in diversified Industries.

With multiple certifications and MDPs on Strategic Thinking, Leadership, Organization Transformation and Talent Development, I have been an avid learner for life. I like reading books of renowned author and inspirational speaker – Simon Sinek and greatly influenced by Dr. Ken Blanchard and Dr. Paul Hersey’s Situational Leadership Model. As an evolving leader, I believe in effective communication, empathy, and role model leadership.
