I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Marketing & Operations, complemented by over 19 years of experience in Technical Sales, Marketing & Communications, Business Development, and Key Account Management, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the table.
My passion for leadership began in childhood, inspired by my father's journey from a small town to becoming the first doctor in our entire closely related circle. Having couple of doctors and engineers in the family, I learned to set ambitious goals and work tirelessly to turn those into reality.
Starting my career as a Sales Executive in 2004 with an Industrial Business Directories Publication Company, I gained valuable insights into the intense realm of sales and marketing, fostering resilience and strong mental fortitude.
In 2006, I joined Swagelok Bangalore as a Sales Engineer and progressed to a leadership position. Throughout my career, I've embarked on a journey that involves understanding and solving customer fluid system problems, combined with a people-focused leadership approach. My diverse experience and cross-industry exposure has empowered me with the strength to confront adversity, navigate industry challenges, and drive sustainable growth. I am passionate about delivering exceptional results, building strong client relationships, and emphasizing effective team communication and collaboration.
In my current role as DGM - Tech. Support & Training, I provide subject matter expertise by identifying training needs and skills gaps through technical consultation and training events. I design training aids, implement corporate customer training programs, and ensure staff has the knowledge and motivation for optimal performance. I encourage the team to deliver their best and realize their potential.
Actively engaged in APAC campaigns and a cross-regional workgroup, I gained valuable exposure and insights into a diverse range of experiences & work culture. As part of an agile team, I promote a growth mindset, emphasizing customer-centricity and continuous improvement. My technical advisor/consultative approach involves identifying and solving customer problems with genuine solutions, emphasizing persistent engagement for measurable positive change. Customer focus is paramount, fuelled by curiosity and a commitment to continuous learning. Embracing the Kaizen philosophy, I champion incremental improvements, contributing to both my career and personal development, reinforcing the notion that self-improvement is a lifelong journey.
Beyond my professional life, I am a fitness enthusiast who enjoys traveling, public speaking, networking, attending live concerts, and sports events. These activities provide me with opportunities to engage and learn from people outside my work domain allowing me to bring renewed energy and fresh perspectives to my work.
