Hailing from small towns in India often comes with an innate sense of honesty and loyalty for most youth. It was no different for me. Growing up in a small town, Palakkad in Kerala, I aspired to pursue a career as software developer and strongly believed that hard work is the way to fulfilling the responsibilities I held in my life.

 I did my BSc. in Mathematics and PG Diploma in Computer Applications, but owing to family commitments, I initially supported by father in the family business in transport. However, the stint was short-lived, and the career trajectory started shaping up when I moved to Delhi to work at HCL as floor supervisor with profile encompassing customer service and where I also got an opportunity of part time software debugging job. Within a year into HCL, owing to hard work and trust I could build with my line managers, I was handling the profile of National OTC coordinator interacting with their Singapore counterparts. 

Aiming at better prospects and career growth, I joined Swagelok in 2005 as a Commercial Executive. The organization was the very ground where I was able to polish and grow to become a leader. My value systems grew from mere hard work and sincerity, to becoming more accountable and encompassing. I moved up the ladder from being a Commercial Executive to becoming a DGM Operations. The journey was arduous, but a truly fulfilling and rewarding one on all fronts. Swagelok strongly upholds its values at professional front and for me the values of Respect and Integrity holds utmost importance with every stakeholder, be it my customers, my organization, my vendors or my team.

Possibly the parity of these values in life and the environment is what has been the key to a contented professional graph. I was able to support, guide and mentor colleagues at work, which gave me immense satisfaction and contentment at work. The company today stands as an undisputed leader in delivering high-quality service delivery to all its clients for past many years, which speaks volumes of the growth of the organization. But I take greater pride in the fact that my team has had close to zero attrition with an average experience of team members with 8 years at the organization.

I simply follow mantra of 3 Cs - Communication, Compassion and Coaching with every relationship. Keeping clear and continuous communication, Compassion to understand other’s situation and extend support and coaching as would be desired for the other person to grow. Believing in other’s innate potential and helping them groom it, is the fundamental principle I feel has worked for me through. 

Following the same value system at personal front as well, I love to spend time with family and friends, helping them in best possible ways. I also enjoy listening and playing to music and watch cricket.
